There are 5 version of X735: V1.0, V2.0, V2.1, V2.5, V3.0; Version 3.0(Updated and release on March 27th 2022):
Update History:
- On March 2022, we release the final version X735 V3.0 which support width voltage DC 6V-30V input (only DC port), Replace the L-SW jumper with FAN FS jumper to control the PWM fan, and the 4-PIN self-locking latching switch interface has been removed and replaced by a 5V output connector.
- On March 15th, 2021, we release the new version X735 V2.5 which use the silent PWM cooling fan, and support fan speed is control by script, support read fan speed, and we provide sample python code.
- On November 8th, 2019, we release the newest version X735 V2.1, change jumper 'FAN_HS' to 'AUTO ON' function; as we found 'AUTO ON' function is more useful to user.
- On August 12th, 2019, it updated to X735 V2.0: add the TYPE C port to POWER the Raspberry Pi 4; (remain the other DC, MICRO USB and XH2.54 power port), and also compatible with Raspberry Pi 3B+ and previous versions.
- On April 13th 2019, we firstly release the X735 V1.0 board.
Overview
The X735 is a multifunctional expansion board for all current models of the Raspberry Pi using a 40-pin header. It provides intelligent and safe power management, safe shutdown and full poweroff through software, an automatic temperature controlled fan which enables the use of the Raspberry Pi in extreme conditions including very high temperature environments.
The X735 safe shutdown board is fully compatible with our Raspberry PI 4 X825 V2.0; X825 V1.5, X857, X862, X872, X835, X832,X883, X829, X828, X820, X850, X860, X870,X822,X852 to provide intelligent and safe power management.
