Beautiful Guampa

The most traditional cup to drink terere from is called a "guampa". It is a cup made from the horn of a cow or bull. See our beautiful, and sleep guampa cups, which are polished to a high shine, and sealed with a resin, flat base to ensure it can sit independently on a flat surface with no leaks.

The resulting infusion is sipped through a metal straw with a filtered end called a "bombilla". In this kit, choose from the guampa alone, a kit with bombilla, or the full kit with guampa, bombilla and large paraguayan flask included.

HOW TO BREW THE PERFECT TERERE

Fill your guampa, or cup of choice around 1/2 full with yerba
Infuse with cool water for a couple of minutes to enhance the flavour
Add ice cubes, fruit and herbs as desired
Prepare your juice: in a large flask, add plenty of ice, and fruit and herbs of choice. Fill with water or your favourite juice. The best flavours are citrus juice and mint.
Now serve the juice into your guampa
Insert your bombilla
Sip and repeat
