Is the output 24 or 32 bits? Which one is correct?

The adapter's chip is 32-bit/384Khz, but limited to 24-bit/96Khz for device compatibility. Most devices have a USB Type A port with only a 24-bit channel, which differs from a chip with a maximum of 24 bits.

How do I switch between the CTIA and OMTP standards?

To switch standards, simply keep your headphones connected to the adapter and unplug and replug them into your PC. The adapter will automatically re-identify the standard.

Why is my microphone volume very low?

This adapter is designed for mass-market headphones/microphones. Some professional headphones have very high impedance, which is too much for a USB 2.0 port with limited power. To solve this issue, use an amp or premium soundcard.

Why is there no response or static when I plug it in?

If there is no response, please check if this adapter is set as your default audio device in the system.

If there is static, try plugging the adapter into the backside USB port of your PC, which has higher working power.
