WELCOME TO BUBBLE TEA

I am a Bubble-rista - a maker of bubble tea. Many years ago, after becoming a fan I booked my ticket to Taiwan - the home of bubble tea - found a bubble tea master and started my training, and yes I actually had to call him master!

BECOMING A BUBBLE-RISTA

I used to have to travel to the far east quite frequently so I had plenty of opportunity to sample the many food and drink delights from across the Orient. I remember trying bubble tea and thinking that I am drinking and eating at the same time! Coming back to the UK it was difficult to find bubble tea anywhere so one day I booked my ticket to the home of bubble tea - Taiwan. There I found a bubble tea master who taught me how to make my own bubble tea. After learning how and what made a good bubble tea I began to realise that bubble tea in the UK was not only limited but also some of the ingredients being used did not seem right. You have to use Taiwanese ingredients to make Taiwanese bubble tea!

HOME KIT CREATION

I wanted to create bubble tea home kits so everyone can make their own bubble tea, but without the need to fly to Taiwan and train under a bubble tea master. It was important to use the right ingredients but also to have simple and easy to follow instructions so a beginner can easily open the box and not just make their own bubble tea but be really pleased with their results. I believe my kits will make excellent bubble tea, as good as you will find in any bubble tea shop, if not better. Actually it will taste better because you will be making it yourself so that in itself adds to the flavour!

This kit makes 6-12 drinks.

In this kit there are 3 flavours of syrup; Strawberry, Blueberry and Grape, and 3 flavours of popping bubbles; Strawberry, Passion Fruit and Green Apple. It is up to you which flavour drink you make and which flavour of popping bubbles to go with it. Best to try a different flavour drink with a different flavour popping bubble.

Each extra large drink uses 60ml of syrup, but you will probably find 30ml enough for both sweetness and flavour.

So you could use this kit to make 12 drinks.

3 x 120ml/120g syrups,

3 x 120ml/120g popping bubbles,

6 jasmine green tea bags,

6 individually wrapped large chunky straws,

& easy to follow instructions.

Storage and usage

For best results use within 2 months from time of delivery.

Keep bubbles and syrup upright in fridge after opening & consume within 7 days.

Do not store in hot place or in direct sunlight, bubbles best to keep refrigerated
