FRIO presents an effective and economical solution to the problem of keeping insulin cool without the need for electricity or cooling elements. br>The principle is very simple. The inner pocket is submerged in cold water, then the crystals contained form a gel. Now insert the cooled insulin and thanks to an evaporation system, it remains cool. The attached outer pocket protects the surrounding items in your handbag or suitcase. The FRIO pockets make the life of insulin-dependent diabetics easier and can be used many times. The FRIO bags are also useful for medications that cannot exceed room temperatures, e.g. insulin, adrenaline, norvir, glaucoma drops, nitrolingual® pump spray. All bags have a cavity, no division. br>The stated size dimensions are those of the inner pocket. If you have a digital/metal pen, you need an additional nylon inner pocket, which protects against moisture and is available for all FRIO bags. DIRECTIONS Soak in cool water for between 2-19 minutes (dependent on size of wallet), leave excess water to drain, towel dry, insert medication and enjoy peace of mind! In-use Insulin is safe in a FRIO wallet for up to 28 days (as per the life of in-use insulin kept above fridge-temperature). Keeps cool for 45hrs minimum, and with a quick re-soak the wallet can be activated for a further 45hrs minimum. Maintains a safe temperature of 18-26°C, even in a constant environmental temperatures of 37.8°C. Keep insulin and other temperature-sensitive medication cool.
