It's always a joy to do your own lathering. Rich warm foam can moisturize and soften the beard for smoother shaving. But this can't be convenient for frequent travelers. Carrying a heavy marble bowl in your luggage is never a good option.

Tips: How to make creamy lather?

1. Soak the brush in warm water (110-140?) for 1 minute to soften the fibers.
2. Before lathering, gently squeeze water out of the brush. Usually, using soggy brush will end up with bubbly water. You can add water later on.
3. Start stirring the soap/gel/paste in a circular motion, dip some more water in if it's too dry.
4. When it reaches the consistency of yogurt, that's the perfect lather you'll need for smooth shaving.
5. The lather may lose its consistency very soon, you just need to give it a few more stirs to get it rich again.
