The new generation of Freejump calipers - the Soft'Up Pro Plus calipers - have a larger tread with longer non-slip nails. Designed to place your feet in an optimal position with excellent grip and shock absorption, they are also quick release to prevent your foot from getting stuck in the event of a fall. The original Freejump Soft'Up Pro Stirrup design has been designed and developed to have an enlarged non-slip tread with rounded corners for better rider comfort. The tread is 1.5 cm (27%) larger to allow better contact with the driver's foot in combination with increased shock absorption capabilities. It also has longer studs on the tread for better grip. The flexible outer temple of these coloured calipers is made of Elastollen and helps ensure that the rider's foot is released in the event of a fall. The single branch made of hardened spring steel offers very high mechanical strength (1200MPa). The branch is located at the front of the tread to provide a natural slope, and the straight beveled rear leading edge provides enhanced lateral stability. The open eye allows for easy attachment to stirrup leathers and allows quick change of stirrups between saddles. It is set at a 45 degree angle, allowing the stirrups to cling perfectly to leathers.
