Fontana FORMIELLO Polenta Svelta is made from coarsely ground cornmeal and is pre-cooked with steam to make it fast cooking while ensuring that all the nutritional and organoleptic properties of corn flour remain unchanged.

Polenta is a very traditional Northern Italian dish where it has been a staple since the beginning of the 16th century when the cultivation of corn was introduced to Europe from the Americas.

Fontana FORMIELLO Polenta Svelta is derived by the selection of different varieties of corn from Northern Italy in order to obtain a special blend of extraordinary quality.

It is ideal for traditional polenta dishes with meat (braised beef, sausage, stews), mushroom and red sauces.
