RF Remote Controlled Our RF (radio frequency) remote is built to be FCC compliant and is tested to work within 50 feet of the Flik device. The adhesive velcro strip on the back of the remote allows easy placement and removal of the remote anywhere in your car. Is This Legal?

Yes, in most states. We reviewed every state's aftermarket car lighting regulations and found that almost all U.S. states allow aftermarket lighting in their front and back windows, as long as the light is amber yellow and non-flashing. We designed the Flik accordingly. Please check your own state's regulations before using the Flik. You can search "[Your State] aftermarket car lighting" to find your state's website (ending with .gov) to determine if the Flik is legal in your state.

Adjusting Brightness - Why It Matters

The Flik recognizes the difference between night and day and adjusts its brightness accordingly. We noticed that it is very difficult to see lights during the day. Think about it, if someone shines a flashlight at you on a sunny day, would you notice? How about at night?

We cranked up the brightness of the Flik so the light is visible during the day and reduced the brightness of the Flik so that the light is not blinding or distracting at night. This is achieved through a light sensor on the front of the Flik that automatically triggers the required brightness setting based on the brightness outside.
