While XPLOR400ws flashtubes are designed to deliver much higher than 100,000 pops, conditions of use, power cycling, and exposure tovibration contribute to the real lifespan of a monolight flash tube. A typical flashtube in top shape can be in service for over 250,000 flashes. The Flashpoint XPLOR 400Pro Flashtube directly plugs into the 3 pin socket on the front of the monolight, and you are back in a flash.
