• What is the detection (cut-off) level of the test?

• To what extent can I trust the test result? Are there any factors that can affect the test result?
  • The test result will be reliable if the test is performed in strict accordance with the instructions provided. However, certain foods and OTC medications or prescription medicine may cause a preliminary false positive result.

• What does positive and negative mean?
  • Negative result (two lines) indicates that the THC metabolite concentration in your urine specimen is below the cut-off level or it is not present at all . Positive result (one line) indicates that the concentration of THC metabolites in urine specimen is above the cut-off level.

• What is the shelf-life of this test?
  • The shelf-life of the test is 24 months. Every pouch has its due date printed on it.

• I have used CBD products, will my test result be positive for THC?
  • The test is designed to detect THC metabolites only, therefore they will not detect CBD. However, if your CBD product contains THC, your results might be positive (it depends on the amount of THC in your CBD product).

• Will these work to test for THC in vape juice?
  • Our test detects THC metabolites that end up in human’s body after consumption of any product that contains THC as long as the concentration of THC metabolites in the body is above 50 ng/ml. Often vape juice contains a relatively low amount of THC, therefore the concentration of THC metabolites in people’s bodies who vape THC in moderation is below 50 ng/ml which results in negative test result. In some cases, however, the result may be positive because it depends on factors like the frequency of use, body weight, metabolism, amount of liquids consumed.

• Will this test detect cannabis edibles?
  • The test detects THC metabolites in your body. There is no difference what the source of THC is, therefore, yes, it will detect THC metabolites in your body if you consume cannabis edibles as long as the concentration of THC metabolites in your body is 50 ng/ml or more (which is the detection (cut-off) level of our test).
