EVERLIT Non-Vented Compact Chest Seal is created to treat tension pneumothorax, the second leading cause of preventable death on the battlefield. It is durable with an aggressive adhesive, easy to use, and performs in a wide range of operational environments.
Packaged in a rugged, easy-to-open foil pouch, the perforated packaging allows users to open only one dressing at a time as needed. Its small packaging is ideal for low profile kits as you do not have to fold it to get it to fit in your kit, go-bag, cargo pocket or body armor.
Size and Shape Covers a greater surface area, and aids in coverage of larger, unpredictable wound patterns. Oval shape allows for greater adherence around the contours of the body.
A large pull tab allows for effective placement and wound burping. Durable packaging is impenetrable to water, air, gases, and is puncture and tear-resistant, which the material can also be used as an additional occlusive barrier, by using tape to secure the barrier.
