After years of trying countless methods and products to battle sensitive skin and irritation- he found the traditional shaving method of a brush, soap and bowl. Left frustrated by either super cheap; highly fragranced (and high in allergens!) or over-priced soap, he decided to make his own.

This brought about Esteem with a mission to create esteemed, high quality products, worthy of every bathroom shelf, to inspire self-confidence in every user.

A luxurious shaving soap which prepares your skin for a smooth, close shave leaving it feeling invigorated.

Handmade in the UK by artisan, Alex, in small batches. Esteem shaving soaps are luxury quality at a fair value.

The soap is made using 6 premium base oils, designed to create maximum lather, glide, protection, slickness and post shave feel. By blending the properties of the 6 oils in varying quantities, it is possible to get the desired results without needing to resort to adding non-natural and synthetic ingredients.

How to get the most from your Esteem Shaving Soap


Soak Soak your soap & brush by submerging in warm water. This is known as 'Blooming'. Leave for 30 seconds while you apply warm water to your face.	Shake Shake off the excess water from the soap bowl and brush. Your brush hair should now be looser and soap should look glossy You're now ready to lather.	Lather Using your brush on the soap, swirl in a circular motion for 30 seconds. Add more water if needed or keep lathering if too watery. Apply it to your face.	Test As a one-off, you can test the lather by squeezing it from the brush into your hand. The perfect lather is velvety and will hold its shape, even upside down!
