Our resin heating mat is designed for resin artists and enthusiasts who like to DIY small resin. After resin heating pad cover the thermal insulation cover the comprehensive temperature to 140 °F (60 °C)-158°F (70 °C), better operate at room temperature of 77°F (25°C). Place the silicone mat

Place the heating mat on a horizontal table with a silicone pad to prevent resin from dripping on the heating mat

Will the resin heating mat damage the silicone mold

No, silicone is heat resistant up to 500 and our heating mat is only up to 140-158 .

What size mold is suitable for resin heating mat

As long as the mold can be covered by the thermal insulation cover, the heating pad can be used for rapid curing.

Can the resin be defoamed by resin heating mat

Yes, when the temperature is suitable and will help the resin get rid of some bubbles.

Can resin casting be performed directly on the heating mat

Sure. Please put the silicone mat so that the resin does not drip directly on the heating pad. If a faster curing speed is required, preheat the mold first.

What if the resin does not cure within 2 hours

Please check the shelf life of the resin, make sure the resin is mixed in the correct ratio, and try to use it in warmer environment and cover it with an insulation cover. In addition, the curing time of resin is also related to the thickness of the mold and the amount of resin, if the mold is large or thicker, the curing time will be extended accordingly.

What should I do if the resin cracks after curing

After the resin is cured, the crack is caused by the one-time casting curing of the large molds. It is recommended to use layered casting for larger molds!
