What Is Pond Equaliser?

Pond Equaliser is one of the most important products we sell. Water parameters are often overlooked by pond keepers but they are crucial to a healthy pond, healthy fish and bacterial activity. Pond Equaliser is a blend of essential minerals that take care of the major parameters and buffers them at a safe level to reassure you that your pond and fish are safe.

How Does Pond Equaliser Work?

Pond Equaliser works within 15 minutes to stabilise the pH, KH & GH levels in your pond and also remove any toxic, heavy metals and ammonia. After stabilising the water parameters. it buffers them for up to 6 months and keeps your pond water safe and healthy. It adds ingredients that are naturally found in water to maintain these levels, rather than harmful chemicals.

How to Use

If you live in a hard water area, water can go cloudy but will clear in a couple of days
Use 100 grams per 1,000 litres of pond water
Scatter directly in to pond, do not pre-mix or dissolve in a watering can
Repeat every 5-6 months as on going maintenance

What Does Pond Equaliser Treat?

Pond Equaliser stabilises your pH within minutes and buffers it between 7.5 & 8.5 for up to 6 months. The pH of a pond is extremely important, too high and fish can become ill, algae can thrive and pond plants can start to die. Too low and fish can become ill and pond plants can die. By keeping the pH at a stable level, fish and plants will thrive, algae will be kept to a minimum and bacterial treatments such as Pond Klear can work effectively.

What Does Pond Equaliser Treat?

Pond Equaliser raises the KH of your pond above 5 and keeps it there for up to 6 months. KH is the measure of the Carbonate Hardness in your pond and is simply the amount of Calcium Carbonate in you pond. Calcium Carbonate is important as it helps with the break down of fish waste, without this being broken down your pond can suffer from green water.

What Does Pond Equaliser Treat?

Pond Equaliser stabilise the GH of your pond and buffers it for up to 6 months. The GH, or General Hardness of the pond is important for the health of pond plants and for micro-organisms to grow.

Treatments – A 250g packet is enough to treat 2,500 litres. This treatment can’t be overdosed. Safe for All Fish & Wildlife – Due to Pond Equaliser containing only natural ingredients, this is completely safe for all fish including koi and sturgeon, all wildlife and plants. Easy to Use – No need to mix this beforehand, you simply pour this straight into your pond. All instructions are on the back of the packet. Removes Ammonia & Toxic Metals – Pond Equaliser adds essential calcium to ponds to help neutralise heavy metals and ammonia. This has a big part of reducing nitrates & nitrites in the future. Buffers pH, KH & GH in garden ponds – Pond Equaliser will buffer the pH to be between 7.5-8.5 and adjusts the KH & GH levels to create the ideal condition for beneficial bacteria growth.
