How is Enterade different from electrolyte enhanced hydration beverages?
While studies conducted by the United States Army, Penn State University, and Sonoma State concluded that Enterade is more hydrating than sports drinks, oral rehydration solutions, and water, Enterade is more than just a hydration drink. Enterade was formulated specifically for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation to help repair the gut from the damage caused by these treatments. While chemo and radiation target rapidly dividing cancer cells, they also target the healthy, non-cancerous cells that line the intestines called the villi.
