This product has a USB-C input port and an HDMI output connector.
The HDMI end of the converter is intended for the receiving end of the signal. It should always be on the external display to which you wanna transmit the signals.
It supports audio and video output from USB-C or thunderbolt 3 ports to an HDMI display only (Video signals transferred from USB-C port to HDMI display).
Please make sure that there is a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on your device that supports video output since not all USB-C ports are able to carry video signals.
In order to output video to an external display, a full-featured (USB 3.1 or higher) USB-C cable or thunderbolt 3 cable must be used.
Does not work when paired with a USB hub, USB drives or docking stations.
