The CORE 500 and the Eko AI are cleared for use on pediatric and adult patients, but the device's diaphragm size and electrode spacing make it best suited for use on adults.

The stethoscope is intended for use on human patients, but can be safely used on animals under the use of veterinarian professionals. The ECG has limited functionality on animals as it can be difficult to get a signal through fur. Eko AI is not intended to be used on animals.
