Records of the Sheffield cutlery industry begin with knife blades forged using power from five of the city’s seven rivers.
1912

Sheffield native Harry Brearley discovers Stainless Steel at the Brown Firth Laboratories, a significant advancement for our industry.
1988

Years of experience in the Sheffield cutlery industry give Neil Edwin Jagger the inspiration to create the first Edwin Jagger razor.
1990

Increasing demand and customer interest leads us to introduce our first shaving brush, the perfect accompaniment for a handmade razor.
1992

Edwin Jagger moves to a dedicated workshop in the Sheffield cutlery quarter and employs artisan craftsmen to assist in production.
