RAW BUCKWHEAT HONEY Proudly harvested by hand during the months of August and September from the hives of Polish fields and native forests. Unpasteurised, unheated, unfiltered, single origin. Unheated, Unpasteurised, Unfiltered, Unprocessed, Unblended(single harvest) Buckwheat honey has a higher concentration of protein, minerals and natural acids, than other comparable honeys. It also contains less water and is a powerhouse of antioxidants. The deep and rich quantity of flavonoids and other phenol compounds are the source of such beneficial antioxidants, which fight off the free radicals. Whilst other foodstuffs contain high amounts of antioxidants, such as tomatoes and other fruit and vegetables, they do not compare with the levels found in buckwheat honey. The most important thing is that the buckwheat honey is raw.
