Everyday things get harder to do and if you or a loved one have got arthritis creeping into your life, you'll know that even something as simple as turning a key in a lock is nowhere near as easy as it used to be. This key holder makes opening doors lots easier and works well with stiff locks as well as arthritic hands, a weak grip, wrist pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve damage or for any other reason. This key turner aid addresses that problem - it can hold one or two Yale type keys for you and will help you to insert and turn them. The turner comes with a separate lever that allows you to add the keys - this will be separate in the box to keep postage costs down but it's simple to put back and you'd need to undo it anyway to add the keys. It's quite bulky (about 12cm long and about 3cm deep) but when your hands don't work as well as they used to, that's a plus as it gives your unwilling hands the extra assistance and leverage they need to get locks open. It weighs about 46 grams (just under 2 ounces). Just unscrew it, add your keys and screw it back in, being careful to keep track of the small nut that holds the lever in place. The screw in the lever is about 4mm diameter and the two key slots are about 2mm and 3mm wide - fine for regular Yale type keys. This key turner aid can hold one or two Yale type keys for you and will help you to insert and turn them.
