A: Please make sure that your microphone should be TRRS CTIA 4 pole standard and not IOS/Beats/Bose mic-built-in headphones.

Q2: Why this cable cannot work with my TV, cars, truck, PS3, Xbox One?

A: The USB interface on those devices do not carry audio signal, so this USB audio adapter does not work with them.

Q3: What are the sample rates? and is the microphone input stereo or mono?

A: 16bit x 48k, and microphone input of the USB external sound card is mono.

Q4: I cannot get audio output from my device as long as I connect this usb adapter.

A: The [Mic-input] and [Audio-output] of this usb adpter will be priority to the device as soon as this apdater is applied. You need re-set the [Default] on your device, select: audio output--Speaker, then you'll get audio output from your devices priority.

Q5: Can I control the volume on my gaming headset when connecting this adapter?

A: No, this adpater do not support in-line control, you can only control Pause/Play/Volume - /Volume + etc.. on your devices.

Windows:

Right-click on the sound icon in the taskbar;
Select Playback or Recording devices;
Adjust the volume on the computer and in the application.

Mac:

Go to System Preferences > Sound > C-Media USB Headset > Output or Input > Volume

To turn off microphone monitoring/sidechannel:

Go to the [Mixer] tab.
Under Playback -> Speakers -> Monitoring -> Microphone, either move the slider to 0, or click the mute button on the right of the volume slider.

For IOS System, the output sound for Left and Right chanel will possibly be Reversed.
For using with PS4, the output sound for Left and Right channel might be Reversed.
