Overcasting Sewing Foot This overcasting foot delivers a consistent and accurate overcasting stitch for serged effect using your sewing machines. Thread is locked around the edge of fabric (e.g ZZ shape), aligned with the edge, to prevent fabric from raveling. Use this foot for beginning and end of seams in skirts or trousers, and the beginning and end of all cuttings!	Overcasting Sewing Foot. The overcast foot is also known as an over-edge or over locker foot.
