How did you come up with the idea for this product

Fran, our founder and Co-CEO, is a dentist who has volunteered for over 10 years to help impoverished people in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

One day, he noticed that many of these places had tons of bamboo.

He believed that if we could make killer bamboo toothbrushes that are good enough to beat plastic ones, then we would not only do good for the planet but also help create jobs for people in impoverished regions. Dr.NOAH's Maru Bamboo Toothbrush is the beginning of this dream.

What makes your product special

Dr.NOAH Maru is the #1 bamboo toothbrush in South Korea.

Our bamboo toothbrushes are designed to replace plastic toothbrushes.

They're not your average bamboo toothbrushes that lose bristles, grow mold, and get splinters.

As a tech-startup based in the USA and South Korea, our toothbrushes are made with patented "Hot Pressing" tech to be durable and elegant.

We also use the highest quality bristles available so that our users can get the best brushing experience.

What has been the best part of your experience

Seeing progress in making our dream come true is the best part of our work.

When we started making bamboo toothbrushes, most were doubtful and said, "The plastic toothbrush industry is too big and too powerful. You won't even make a tiny scratch on them."

But we have forged our path and proved our growth.

We have put together a team of the best problem-solvers from the US and South Korea and now have the world's best bamboo toothbrush manufacturing technology.
