The perfect first shoes for your little one’s precious first steps. These soft-sole suede slippers are the perfect choice for babies learning to crawl and stand up on their own. Ideal first shoes for toddlers with a barefoot feel allowing little feet to move around without restrictions. Great for toddlers taking those first steps and finding their feet. These lovely little leather slippers also make great indoor play shoes, especially when it is cold outside. They are available in sizes 0-6 Months up to 5-6 Years.

• Signature Dotty Fish Non-Slip Suede Soles

The signature non-slip suede sole makes them ideal for wearing indoors on slippery floors. They are perfect for wearing around the house or even to nursery or kindergarten. They have an elasticated ankle trim which means they are comfortable to wear but don't keep getting kicked off. The warm fleece lining keeps little toes toasty on chilly mornings and evenings. Lightweight and flexible these slippers allow little feet to move as nat re intended while still staying protected.

We don't recommend washing these leather shoes in a washing machine. Please spot clean with damp cloth only.

Help with Choosing the Right Size

We know that getting the right size is important and although our sizes are in months and years babies don't come in one size fits all. To help we have created a printable size guide that your child can stand on which will tell you exactly which size Dotty Fish shoes to choose.

Simply follow these 4 steps to get the most accurate size.

1. Print out the PDF foot measurement tool and size guide which can be found under our as 'Product Guides and Documents'
2. Stand your child barefoot on the chart. Your child's heel must be on the dotted line at the bottom of the chart. If your little one isn't standing yet simply put the printed sheet on a hard book and place your child's heel on the dotted line.
3. Measure both feet, it is normal to have one foot slightly larger than the other. You will need to measure to the top of the big toe and use the largest size foot measurement.
4. Choose the size you are shown on our guide for the most accurate fit. You don't need to account for room for growth. Dotty Fish shoes have 1cm wiggle room built in.

Designing our baby shoes to not only look adorable but to also be good for the little feet that wear them. Every adventure starts with a first step and we believe those first steps are precious.

Helen started Dotty Fish back in 2006 when she had two young children. She was given a pair of leather baby shoes for her son, Josh. When she went to buy some more she realised just how expensive they were. Spotting a gap in the market she drew some designs and sent off for her first samples. Over the years our range has expanded to include slippers, first walking shoes and accessories but the heart of the business has stayed the same. To provide high quality, affordable leather children's shoes that are loved by parents and children.
