This high-quality Doctor's Best product contains the patented Quatrefolic, the bioactive form of folate, which has better stability and higher water solubility, ensuring optimal bioavailability of the vitamin.

A daily dose of 1 capsule contains:

400mcg DFE* folate (equivalent to 240mcg folic acid)
40mg vitamin C
* = Dietary Folate Equivalent (folic acid equivalent)

What is folate

Folate is the water-soluble vitamin B9 in its natural form, as it is also present in food. Folic acid, on the other hand, is always present in a synthetic form.
