Disana Nappy wraps are brilliant and are a particularly good starting cover for those trying out wool covers for the first time. They're made from beautifully soft organic merino wool which is breathable (helps to prevent nappy wash) naturally anti-bacterial and self cleaning (just air between uses). Once it's been treated with lanolin it's extremely leak proof making it the perfect soaker for nighttimes and naps. The high waistband keeps wee tummies and backs warm and snug leg cuffs provide good leak protection. We suggest you size up by 3 months to allow for shrinkage It should be treated with lanolin 2-3 times before the first use and re-lanolised every3-6weeks or so to maintain the waterproofing. These covers will shrink and felt a little with washing (which improves their functionality) so we also suggest you size up to allow for this. How to Lanolise Nappy Covers: You should start with a small bowl of very hot water and add around 3 generous tablespoons of liquid lanolin or a teaspoon of solid lanolin and stir to dissolve. Once it's dissolved, add this solution to a bowl of lukewarm water (just enough to cover your woollens) and add the nappy wraps. Swirl around a bit and leave to soak for 5-10mins.
