1. Press the POWER button to turn on the instrument. Dip the electrode in the target solution, making sure the whole electrode is submerged.	2. Press the MODE/CAL button, adjust the tester to SALT ppm/ppt mode, the word "SALT" will be displayed at the top of the screen, the unit is ppm/ppt.	3. Gently turn the tester or a few seconds and then stop, wait for the reading to be stable, then the accurate value of the tested solution can be obtained. Dry with a cloth after use.
