Remove the bay leaves and serve with rice, fresh coriander, naan bread and a dollop of chutney. The sauce should have thickened, the meat/veg cooked through and the lentils broken down. Add chiopped tomatoes, stock and the rest of the spices, bring to the boil (add extra lentils/stock at this stage if required), add bay leaves and simmer for 35 minutes. Heat oil ina pan and cook onion and garlic until soft, add the main ingredient (meat or vegetables) and cook until browned/softened, add 20g seasoning mix and cook for a further 2 minutes.
