Every DexShell product has many years of research and development behind it using the most effective materials and the patented manufacturing technology. The company has been media and consumer acclaimed across the world since its inception in 2010 and our products have kept many thousands of outdoor adventurers and workers warm and dry in every kind of weather. However, we believe that strong brands are much more than 'just good products' – that is just the minimum requirement.

DexShell team is made up largely of people in that we cycle, run, hike, work and climb in the great outdoors and in all weathers. As such we extensively test all the products we sell in house before ever bringing them to market. Our team is spread across the globe so every type of weather and condition is experienced from deserts to wet Welsh valleys.

The whole range of DexShell waterproof socks has been awarded the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 mark which is a highly prized award recognizing environmental standards. We are also committed to ensuring that no animal should suffer in the production of our products. All merino wools we used are sourced from suppliers awarded with the certificate for non-mulesing. Any non-merino wool product of ours is fully Vegan and free from any animal derived ingredients.

Patented 4-way stretch technology DEXTRETCH DexShell's patented 4-way stretch lamination technology (DEXTRETCH) provides greater freedom of movement to the wearer. The sock outer and inner components with our engineered knitting composition are laminated with the membrane interlining using a micro dotting process.	Durable and waterproof by PORELLE Porelle is a range of high spec waterproof breathable membranes for use in quality performance outerwear. The Porelle membrane that DexShell selected to use is a type of hydrophilic membrane in solid microstructure which therefore is much more durable than the microporous type of membranes (in sponge structure).	The water cuff seal technology DEXLOK Our patent pending DEXLOK technology was developed for stopping water from coming into the waterproof sock at the top and from soaking in when it is immersed. This design provides a real sense of being 100% waterproof and enables users to stay dry and warm across and in the river.	Unique waterproof glove technology DEXFUZE Our DEXFUZE technology bonds the knit glove liner and the ergonomic outer glove together, with the waterproof membrane sandwiched in between. This unique construction eliminates the movement between the layers of those conventional waterproof gloves and provides great fit and handling dexterity to wearers thus significantly enhances the hand grip.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How breathable are your waterproof socks

A. The membrane barrier is 100% waterproof and 75% breathable (BS 7209:1990 STM 200), thanks to Porelle's more than 40 years manufacturing knowhow. For better understanding said breathability, please make a comparison of 100% waterproof yet non-breathable neoprene rubber material versus non-waterproof yet 100% breathable polo shirt fabric.

Q. Can I use your waterproof socks for swimming or other sports that need to submerge the socks

A. Not absolutely. Please note the term 'waterproof' indicates that Only the composite fabric with membrane sandwiched is waterproof. It doesn't mean however you can submerge DexShell socks in water or ride for many hours in the rain without experiencing some water ingress. The water may run into the socks from the tops leading you to believe that they're not waterproof!

Q. Why did I feel a bit cool when I walked into watersWas my waterproof sock leaking

A. No. Please note the waterproof sock can keep your feet dry but the cold water outside still effects and gets the temperature drop.

Q. What size should I choose

A. Please refer to the size chart below which includes four sizes available. Please note our waterproof socks are fabricated by lamination thus the composite fabric is not as stretchy as that of ordinary knit socks. Also please take a close look at the fit type for each socks recommended in our Comparison Chart at bottom. No matter if you are at the upper edge of a size, or if you have wide feet, you must choose a SIZE UP from your normal shoe size.

Q. How to wash your waterproof socks

A. Machine wash tumble dry low. Normal detergents. DO NOT DRY ON ANY DIRECT HEAT which will cause delamination of composite fabrics!
