Q: Why does my GripShield not fit?

A: Our GripShields are designed to have a snug fit on the G6 systems. To apply, slide the lip of the ROUND end of the GripShield under the G6 sensor and gently press the square end down and over the sensor. There should be a slight stretch to apply. NOTE: If the round end pops up, you did not have it engaged completely.

Q: What Overlay patches work with the GripShield?

A: Most WOVEN type patches are compatible with the GripShield without modification. We include two (2) samples of white patches from @TheSugarPatch for you to try. Plastic type patches may require a little trimming to fit around our GripShield.

Q: What is the best way to clean the patch adhesive off the GripShield?

A: We recommend using a gentle solvent like Unisolve or Medical Goo-Gone. The Shield can be wiped down or submerged for 60 seconds and then cleaned off. After using a solvent, flush with water to prevent the plastic from breaking down.

Q: How long will the GripShield last before needing to be replaced?

A: We rotate a few colors and are still using ones from a year ago. With proper cleaning and gentle removal of the patches (Unisolve) these GripShields may hold up longer.
