Evenbetternow DETOX Clay for Bathing is a 100% purified sodium bentonite clay consisting of micronized particles that exist as a free-flowing powder with no added ingredients. This clay is a high purity air-classified sodium bentonite (sometimes referred to as sodium montmorillonite), selectively mined in the United States from one of the best bentonite mines in the country. Evenbetternow DETOX clay has a very high cation exchange capacity (98-107 meq per 100g on the CEC scale), which means it has a high ionic surface charge when mixed with warm water. (14 cups) of clay, good for 7-15 baths. You can use our clay to help remove harmful pollutants and contaminants from your body. We suggest taking a bath every 5 to 7 days. Directions for Use


(1) Measure ½ – 2 cups of dry clay powder with the enclosed scoop (one scoop = ½ cup). Avoid breathing in clay dust powder – use of a dust mask is recommended. (2) Secure the plug and run the bath water (hot). Carefully sprinkle the dry clay powder over the surface of the water. Using a non-metal stirring utensil, thoroughly mix the clay into the bath water.	(3) For best results and minimal to no clumping, allow the clay to hydrate by letting it sit in the tub for 10-15 minutes. (4) Add more hot water, if necessary. Temperature of the bath water should be comfortably warm, but not too hot. (5) Submerge as much of your body in the tub as possible for 10 – 20 minutes.	(6) No need to rinse off, just dry off and moisturize if desired. (7) After the bath, drink plenty of water and/or an electrolyte drink. (8) Clay may be rinsed down the drain, if clay water is lump-free.	Clay baths may be taken one or more times per week, but not recommended more than once every 48-72 hours. Each jar contains 5.5 lbs (or 14 cups) of dry clay powder, which is good for 7-15 baths. Included on the label is complete instructions for use.
