The Kebony wood handle is from sustainable forests in the European Baltic States. The brush head is the Petit Gris Pur Quill Size 3 for watercolorists and allows the artist to fill in the silvertip sketch with watercolor. This is indeed the same brush head on da Vinci Series 418.
