Die fein voluminöse Wundauflage mit hohem Saugvermögen hat wundseitig eine Polyester Polyethylenschicht sie lässt Sekret in den gut saugenden Teil diffundieren, beschleunigt die Wundreinigung, verklebt jedoch nicht und beeinflusst positiv den Heilungsprozess durch gesicherte Wundruhe beim Verbandwechsel. Zuverlässiger Rundumverschluss durch besonders gut haftenden, hautfreundlichen Polyacrylatkleber der Curapor Wundverband steril lässt sich schmerzlos und rückstandsfrei wieder von der Haut lösen. Curapor Wundverband steril besteht aus einem elastischen, weißen Trägervliesstoff aus 100 Polyester, welcher mit einem hautfreundlichen Polyacrylatkleber beschichtet ist. Zentral aufgebrachtes Wundkissen mit einer Saugschicht aus Viskose Polyester und einem nicht verklebenden Polyester Polyethylen-Trennfilm. Der sterile Wundverband ist strahlensterilisiert, einzeln eingesiegelt und latex-, kolophonium- und kolophoniumderivatfrei.
