How did we get our start?

We get our moniker from Powell Crosley, who lived a century ago and possessed a clear vision of the future. In the 1920s he knew music was for the people and created a radio for everyone. In keeping with his tradition and spirit we decided the vinyl experience was also for everyone. Our first turntable was released in 1992 when CDs were still king. Naturally, everyone thought we were nuts. But now, after 30+ years of bringing stylish music to the people, we manufacture the turntables, radios, and accessories that help everyone discover their own music.

The Crosley CT201 Cassette Player is where bass gets a boost, and the vibe is '80s cool. Flip the switch for an amplified bass experience and get those analog VU meters bouncing. We've even thrown in a digital level meter for extra flair. This boombox can play cassette tapes, broadcast to AM/FM radio, or connect to Bluetooth to stream digital music through the speakers. You can also jam to music from a USB thumb drive, SD card, or auxiliary input. Adjust the volume, bass, and treble using the silver knobs on the top of the unit and flip through the functions using the adjacent switches.
