Welcome to Aunt Sally's Pralines!

Aunt Sally’s Pralines was founded in the tightly knit French Creole community of New Orleans in the early 1900s. In 1935, Diane and Pierre Bagur opened the first Aunt Sally’s Praline Shop in the French Market. They sold handmade pralines, along with a collection of retail merchandise representing New Orleans culture and Creole traditions. Over the next several decades, the family opened more stores, created new recipes, and modernized their production facilities, evolving into an iconic New Orleans brand. In addition to retail stores, Aunt Sally’s Pralines grew successful mail order, internet, and wholesale channels, while maintaining family ownership and a solid commitment to the City of New Orleans.

Today, Aunt Sally’s Pralines operates two retail stores in the heart of our home city, New Orleans. At our stores and online we sell New Orleans gifts and souvenirs, including excellent cookbooks, collectibles, and local goods. And, of course, our Original, Creamy, and Chewy pralines.

Hand-Poured Fresh Daily Even after 85 years, we continue our family traditions and stay true to our original family recipe. Our Praline Makers even still expertly use copper pots to heat up our sweet batches of Southern Pecan Pralines that they hand-pour fresh daily just for you!
