Unfortunately, this variety tiger nuts is almost no longer grown today, although it is actually much better than the usual varieties today.The reason for this is the elongated shape, which is not so well suited for machine and processing. This variety is sweeter than the other and is characterized by the elongated shape. Diese Sorte Tigernüsse wird heute leider fast nicht mehr angebaut, obwohl sie eigentlich viel besser ist als die heute üblichen Sorten. Der Grund hierfür ist die längliche Form, welche sich nicht so gut für die maschinelle Be- und Verarbeitung eignet. Diese Sorte ist süßer als die andere und zeichnet sich durch die längliche Form aus. Von der Größe her sind die Nüsse jedoch eher mit normalen Standard vergleichbar. Über die Hälfte der Nüsse sehen auch aus wie normale Standard. Die reslichen haben die markante längliche Form und nehmen Größen bis über 40mm an. Der Anteil an länglichen ist von Sack zu Sack und von Saison zu Saison unterschiedlich. Kaufen Sie diese Sorte also bitte nicht wegen der Größe, sondern wegen der Süße. Bitte bachten Sie jedoch, dass Nüsse über 15mm nur in geringen Mengen vorkommen und welche von 30mm und mehr nur vereinzelt zu finden sind. Diese Sorte sind keine Jumbo-Tigernüsse!
