Clearspring's organic brown sushi rice is ideal for creating delicious, perfectly cooked rice that can be used to make wholesome and delicious dishes, including sushi. We thought long and hard about adding it to our range as it takes considerably more time to cook than organic white sushi rice, but considering all the amazing health benefits and nutrition in brown rice, it is worth it. INGREDIENTS Organically grown whole grain rice. DIRECTIONS Wash 1 cup (250g) of Sushi Rice in cold water and drain. Transfer to a saucepan with 2 cups (540ml) of cold water. Leave to soak for a minimum of 60 minutes. Bring to the boil. Cover and lower the heat to simmer for 40 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed. Remove from heat and leave, covered, for 10 minutes.
