Quality controls are continuously carried out in accordance with the QSA System, over all the production phases: from the samples taken in the field before the harvest, to the samples during the production phase and till the finished products in stock. This is what we mean when we say tracked “from seed to table”. To help ensure better product, our Group even owns TERASEEDs, the company dedicated to GMO free industrial seeds ideal for the very best farming for eachregion of Italy and type of cultivar. Our R&D Labs work closely with International Universities to present scientific findings at conferences worldwide. | PARTNERSHIP FIC - ITALIAN FEDERATION OF CHEFS FIC chefs carried out rigorous tastings of Cirio products and appreciated their quality and performance. VERACE PIZZA NAPOLETANA ASSOCIATION (AVPN) The Verace Pizza Napoletana Association (AVPN) was founded in 1984 in Naples and protects and promotes the products and recipes of the true Neapolitan pizza. Our Cirio peeled tomatoes have passed the strict examination tests and are promoted by the Association. Cirio is the tomato brand chosen by ALMA to work in partnership. | 50 KM AS MAXIMUM DISTANCE FROM PLANTS TO FIELD Tomatoes, and especially green fresh-harvested produce, are highly perishable: when picked, they have to be preservedin the space of a few hours to prevent the risk of fermentation. All production steps are constantly monitored: pasteurisation temperatures, weights, watertight container seals, as well as the physical and chemical characteristics of the finished goods.
