The FreeStyle Libre clip and strap buckles are made from a stiff plastic. they are designed to fit the sensor perfectly

Sits over the sensor, but does not actually clip to the sensor, reducing the risk of sensor being pulled off if strap gets caught on something, a small gap between clip and skin ensues pressure is added to the adhesive pad.

The amount of pressure placed on the top of the sensor is controlled by how tight you keep the elastic straps, during heavy physical exercise or time of increased risk you may want the strap tighter than other times, trial and error to see what suits you best.

Glow in the dark armband

Gow in the dark

We have a glow in the dark option, they glow either green or blue, and are available with either a black or white strap. To see the colours watch the video above.

No batteries or wires no electronics!! these simply need access to light to charge. They charge best from natural light but will charge from pretty much any light source.. Natural or UV light will charge the fastest and give the brightest glow. about 10 minutes under lamp light will emit a feint glow for several hours.

Green gives the brightest glow.

PLEASE NOTE: these emit a feint glow, don't expect to use them as a replacement for a night light, they are just meant to be a fun alternative colour.

They are tested before shipping only to confirm the colour because in the day both look the same... If you wish to confirm these are working (they don't stop working) go out side for a minute or so in the day then go to a dark room

This is an armband holder to protect the FSL sensor, it help prevent the sensor being knocked off or coming loose, Idea for physical activity where you may become sweaty or if you are prone to knocking your sensor.

Comes pre assembled minor adjustments only, required to fit your arm.

This is a 3D Printed product produced in the UK to the best possible standards

One Size Fits Most:

This item has a 50cm elasticated band that should fit most arms, for very small arms you may wish to cut the elastic with a pair of scissors, we suggest you then seal the cut end to prevent fraying, this can be done with a drop of superglue, or by lightly singing with a lighter/candle or soldering iron.

The clip works by applying pressure to the top of the sensor keeping it pressed against the adhesive pad, and the adhesive pad against the arm, the clip does not attach to the sensor as this would create a risk of pulling the sensor off if you catch the strap on something, instead the clip should slide up/down you arm, where you can simply slide back into place.

Common Questions

Q1, The strap is too long for my 4 year old

A1, The strap can be shortened use a sharp pair of scissors, once cut you will need to seal the end of the elastic so it does not fray.. this can be done with a drop of super glue and allowed to dry or by lightly singing the end with a lighter or candle.

Q2 The end of the strap has frayed slightly what do i do

A2 there is a simple fix for this.. use a sharp pair of scissors and trim the very end of the strap that is frayed, once cut you will need to seal the end of the elastic so it does not fray again.. this can be done with a drop of super glue and allowed to dry or by lightly singing the end with a lighter or candle.

Q3 My clip doesn't glow.

A3 Yes it does, it was tested prior to shipping to confirm its colour, as there no electronics there is nothing to break and no batteries to replace they don't stop working. it need access to light to charge, and it emits a feint glow in a dark room.. go outside during the day for a minute or so the go into a dark room or place under bedding or a dark closet you will see it emit a feint glow, don't expect them to be super bright, they cant be there's no electronics! , remember these are just supposed to be a fun colour alternative, the base functionality remains the same and that's to help prevent the sensor falling off.
