Uses

Bladderwrack – Fucus vesiculosus – this common seaweed is an edible sea vegetable that has a variety of guilt-free culinary uses, such as: seasoning and salt substitution, soup, salad, stir fry and many unique health-promoting recipes. This delicate, salty-sweet kelp can also be eaten raw, into flakes blended with smoothies or oatmeal.

It was the original source of iodine, discovered in 1811.
