Answer: No, it has all the electronics, battery and a blank key inside.
Question: How to program car keys?
Answer: In order to protect the safety of the car we can only provide unprogrammed key fob. For models prior to 2011, we will provide self-programming tutorials link.
2011 and up vehicles must be programming by either a dealership or an automotive locksmith, as their is no self programming procedure for those model years. We recommend bringing it to a locksmith since most dealers are unable program an aftermarket key.
Question: How to check if it is compatible with your model?
Answer: Please look carefully at the pictures and the text descriptions. Such as the key fob is compatible with 2010-2016 Chevy Malibu, which it's compatible with all Chevy Malibu models up to 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016.
