Carob pulp powder: a natural sweetener

Carob powder is made by grinding the dried pulp of the carob pod into a fine powder.

Because of its high sugar content, carob flour can be used as a sugar substitute in baked goods and desserts. It can be used for caramel cream, sauces, condiments, jams, and more.

Recipe idea

Lava cake (Chocolate soufflé)

For 3 servings: 100g oatmeal; 50g coconut blossom sugar; ¼ cup coconut oil; ¾ cup coconut milk; ¼ cup carob powder; ½ tsp baking soda; 1 tsp vinegar; 1 tsp salt; chocolate

Preparation: Mix all the ingredients. Pour the mixture into a baking pan. Add a piece of chocolate to each serving. Bake at 180°C for 8 minutes.
