Carmellose Sodium Eye Drops 0.5% 10ml Alissa Carmellose Sodium lubricant eye drops for lasting and soothing relief and protection against burning, irritation and discomfort due to ocular dryness or exposure to environmental factors. This product is a sterile, ophthalmic solution containing carmellose sodium 0.5% in a bottle of 10ml. When should it be used? Carmellose 0.5% is used for symptoms of ocular dryness. This lubricant ophthalmic solution has wetting and protective properties which provide relief to the eye in case of irritation, burning and foreign body sensation caused by a reduction in the tear film. The tear film weakness results from environmental factors such as wind, sun, dry air, salt water, smoke, intense light conditions, prolonged use of the computer, ophthalmic surgery, conjunctivitis or frequent and prolonged use of contact lenses. This product is not normally intended for use for more than 30 days; if the symptoms persist consult your doctor.
