The wax is rigid at mouth temperature but can be molded at higher temperatures without cracking or tearing. APPLICATIONS - Our Baseplate Wax is commonly used to build trial plates for the arrangement of artificial dentures, inlay patterning, boxing of impression, casting, establishing the arch form, the occlusal plane level, recording the maxillary mandibular relation, corrective impressions, and bite registration. This wax is used for initial modeling and later fitting trial dentures (try-ins) before the finished product is completed. BASEPLATE WAX - This wax comes in a pink or red colored rectangular wax sheet, is available in ten formulas, and is classed by four hardness levels.
