+ Does CandAssist need any special storage
CandAssist does not need to be refrigerated. However, it will stay freshest when stored in a cool, dry place.
+ Where is CandAssist made
CandAssist is made in Oregon, USA, using high-quality ingredients sourced from around the world, in a cGMP-certified, FDA-compliant facility. We use rigorous quality control on our ingredients and processes to ensure the highest standards.
+ Is CandAssist free of allergens
CandAssist is free of nuts, wheat, gluten, soy, and dairy. It is vegan, non-GMO, and free from all preservatives and artificial colors or flavors. Our facilities are fully cGMP-compliant and operate to the highest standards. We use rigorous quality control to ensure that our supplements match what it says on the label.
+ Are there any side effects
For some people, CandAssist can cause mild digestive symptoms when you start taking it. These might include gas or bloating, but they usually pass within a few days. To reduce the chance of side effects, there are a couple of strategies that you can follow. Firstly, you can start with a low dose of one capsule per day. This will give your gut time to adjust to the ingredients in CandAssist. When you are ready, you can choose to increase the dose or remain at the lower dose. Second, we recommend taking your CandAssist capsules with a meal. Taking them with food will reduce the chance of any digestive side effects.
+ How large are the capsules
The capsules we use for CandAssist are 0.65in long and 0.38in wide. They're quite compact and our customers find them very easy to swallow.
+ Do the capsules smell of oregano
Yes they do! Oregano leaf extract has a strong natural odor and flavor (much stronger than plain oregano). Our delayed-release capsules hide the flavor, but the capsules do still smell of oregano.
+ Does CandAssist cause 'oregano burps'
The oregano leaf extract does have quite a strong flavor. That's one reason why we use delayed-release capsules that carry the ingredients through your stomach, and release them into your intestine. For most people, this means they don't experience that oregano flavor at all.
If you do experience oregano burps, that may be a sign that the capsules are hanging around in your stomach a little too long. This is an indication that your stomach acid is probably too low, which can sometimes also cause other issues like acid reflux or poor digestion.
If you're worried about this happening, consider starting with a low dose of one capsule per day. Taking the capsules with food can also prevent it from happening.
+ What time of day should I take CandAssist
We recommend taking CandAssist with food, which will greatly reduce the chance of any digestive side effects. The exact time of day does not matter.
+ What is the standard dose
We formulated CandAssist to come in a daily dose of three small, easy-to-swallow capsules. That makes it very easy to increase or reduce your dose as you wish. If you have a sensitive gut, you might consider starting with one capsule per day to give your body a chance to adjust. Then you can increase your dose to two or three capsules per day when you feel comfortable.
