Is charcoal toothpaste safe for my teeth and enamel

Absolutely Safe. Cali White Charcoal Toothpaste Formula has an RDA (Relative Dentin Abrasiveness) score of 114. That means the FDA says Cali White is enamel safe for lifetime use :) To give you an example, Cali White Charcoal Toothpaste (RDA 114) is less abrasive than Crest Whitening Toothpaste (RDA 130). Brush On!!!

Does this actually whiten your teeth or just a fad

YES it whitens your smile, look at our before and after pics in the reviews! Our formula is hands down the best at naturally whitening your teeth and we have our FULL SMILE Policy to back it up. However, it is important to remember that every persons smile is different. Genetics and personal habits can make it a more gradual whitening process for some and immediate results for others.

How does it taste and does it foam

Taste

Most people love our subtle Pacific Mint taste from organic peppermint. For those of you used to chemical laden toothpaste this might be a palate change. Some customers find the taste of tea tree oil and baking soda a slightly strange FYI, but we love it.

Does it Foam

Absolutely Not. We replaced all the SLS which are the chemical foaming agents with coconut oil. Give it a try, au naturale.

Tips and Warnings

Read all ingredients to ensure you are not allergic. Discontinue use if you have irritation at all.
Small % of customers are allergic to tea tree oil and peppermint oil.
In the rare case you experience substantial sensitivity please discontinue use
It can be a bit messy but not nearly as much as charcoal powder.
Charcoal can stain cloths so brush with care.
When brushing have the water running and spit close to the sink to prevent splatter.
