Purple Stripe Garlic | Cao B?ng, Vietnam

Our Purple Stripe Garlic powder, grown in the mountains of northern Vietnam, is savory and sweet, and its flavor adds depth and complexity to everything it touches. The powder can be used in place of fresh garlic, or as an upgrade to standard garlic powder. Add it to tomato sauces, stews, salad dressings or simply sprinkle it onto stir-fries or pizza. The rich, buttery aroma is a welcome addition to cooked dishes, breads and even as a sprinkle topping for pizza!

This is an heirloom variety with a purple stripe on its papery skin and small bulbs.

Royal Cinnamon

Our Royal Cinnamon has been harvested in the mountains around the ancient Vietnamese capital city of Hu? for milennia. The same species as Saigon cinnamon (cinnamomum loureiroi), royal cinnamon is an heirloom variety not widely harvested or exported, and exemplifies the intense sweetness and spiciness for which Vietnamese cinnamon is prized. Use it in place of Saigon or other cinnamons in pastries and baked goods, or sprinkle into rich, savory meat or tomato-based dishes.

Ground Black Lime | Alta VeraPaz, Guatemala

Our ground Black Lime is grown on a family farm in Guatemala, where ripe limes are dried in the sun until they oxidize, turning black and savory. A versatile ingredient common in Persian cooking, they have a savory, tart flavor that's great on roasted meat or vegetables, in stews and anywhere you'd use lime juice.

Wild Mountain Cumin | Badakhshan, Afghanistan

Our Wild Mountain Cumin is hand-picked by foragers in the Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan. They are tiny, oblong and black with long stems. Botanically distinct from common cumin (Cuminum cyminum), our wild mountain cumin is renowned in Afghanistan and throughout central and south Asia for its delicious flavor as well as its medicinal properties. It has a savory, penetrating aroma and bright, umami flavor evocative of grilled meats and sweet caramelized onions.

Smoked Pimentón Paprika | Extremadura, Spain

Sweet, locally-grown red pimentón peppers are slowly dried over oak coals, which imbue them with a rich, smoky flavor that imparts a savory depth and gorgeous color to any dish.

Our smoked pimenton paprika comes from a single family-owned fabrica in the Extremadura region of western Spain famous for pimenton de la vera, which has a Designation of Protected Origin status from the European Union.

Sun-Dried Tomato Powder

Our Sun-Dried Tomato Powder is made from a special tomato variety grown across Turkey's Aegean Sea coastline. Sun-dried tomatoes are a natural source of umami, and this tomato powder adds a bump of rich savory tanginess.

Sauté the powder with aromatics like onions or garlic, use as a garnish on roasted vegetables or add to rubs for grilled meats.
