Coffee and Whiskey is a classic combination, barrel ageing the whole bean coffee is the best process to combine these two great flavours. Our barrel-aged coffee is matured in the highest quality oak barrels that were once used to produce some of Ireland’s best Whiskey. Using speciality-grade green coffee beans, we age them in barrels, rolling them every day for up to 3 months, to infuse the flavour into the beans before finally roasting them in small batches to ensure a perfect medium roast. The result is a smooth cup of coffee with a distinctive taste, ideal for after dinner or as the base for the perfect Irish Coffee or even a Cold Brew. This barrel-aged coffee is best served in a cafetiere, pour-over, or drip filter. Please note there is no alcohol in this product. We use an artisan barrel-ageing process to add the beautiful flavours of Irish Whiskey to the coffee, nothing is added but time in the barrel. Made in an unconventional way, the after-dinner coffee has been designed with a unique flavour that is unmatched by other coffees.
