Bottle Up began with a simple human truth

Okay, maybe we’re biased, but we think our hometown, Amsterdam, is beautiful.

Then you’ll understand, why our frustration at seeing our canals filled with single-use plastic meant we had to act.

So, we started Bottle Up, creating a water bottle that’s attractive enough to keep, durable enough to last, safe enough to refill, and just as convenient and refreshing as ordinary bottled water.
Does the bottle contain BPA?

The bottle is BPA free so you can reuse the bottle again and again. In fact, sugar cane doesn’t contain any form of BPA so you are safe to reuse.

Where is the spring water from?

Our refreshing spring water comes from Elmhurst spring in Staffordshire. The water from this source is naturally mineralised through glacial stratus.

How often can I reuse my bottle?

You can reuse the bottle as often as you like. The bottle is BPA free and made to last if treated well. We advise you to rinse the bottle with hot water after use and drain well.

Our bottles are made entirely of sugar cane. We chose sugar cane, because it’s a low impact crop, requiring little to no fertiliser or additional irrigation. Sugar cane as the name implies, is where we get sugar. But that’s not all we get. Also, the sugar cane derived plastic in Bottle Up bottles is BPA free.

Recylable

The bottle and cap are made from the same material, making them a mono material bottle. Both cap and bottle can be recycled at end of life. Please deposit the bottle in the plastic recycling bins

Responsibility

Think global. Drink local.

We don’t drag our water halfway across the world from sacred Polynesian springs. Why? Two reasons.

1. Because Polynesians need their own water.

2. Because it’s stupid.

Our water comes from local sources, close to where it’s sold. Less transport means less CO2, and that means less global warming. Bottle Up cools, and refreshes in more ways than one. Clever aye?
